Everything your family would need, in one place.
If something happened to you, would your family know who to call, what you own, and where your papers are? The Family Roadmap is a free tool for writing it down while you can.
What goes in your Family Roadmap
- Who to call first: The few people who can help: a relative, your lawyer, your accountant. (about 5 minutes)
- What you own and owe: Accounts, property, insurance and debts, and who to contact about each. (about 20 minutes)
- Where your papers are: Your will, deeds, policies and tax returns, and where each is kept. (about 10 minutes)
- Your funeral wishes: Burial or cremation, the service, who to tell. (about 10 minutes)
- An "open this first" letter: One page that tells your family what to do first. (about 10 minutes)
- A message in your own voice: A short video or a letter for the people you love. (about 10 minutes)
Then share it with someone you trust. They get their own private link, and you are told each time they open it.
Never enter a password or a PIN. You write down where it is kept instead.
